This month is about Nutrition Month.As we hear the word,"nutrition",it talks about our health.The first thing that comes to our mind is the food.
The food we eat everyday provides growth and maintenance for a healthy body.It helps to keep us mentally alert.We eat food because our body needs to grow,develop,and work properly.Food is an energy source,When we eat nutritious foods,we get the energy to perform our daily activities.If energy,we become hungry.Then,we eat.And then,we feel satisfied and our body uses energy.The nutrients are the substances in food that our body needs.Most foods contain a number of different nutrients.Nutrients are grouped into six categories namely:carbohydrates,proteins,fats,vitamins,minerals and water.Our body also needs enough sleep,rest,exercise,and the right kind and amount of food.As a conclusion,taking in the right amount of foods and doing any other activities can make us healthy person and be far from sickness.
